Welcome!

Well, I decided that the topic was a bit much to fit into our usual blog about moving to France (which, friends, is probably where you came from, and strangers, is one intended for friends) so I created a new one. This will be, if I can manage to bring myself to do it, an online record of progression (we hope!) around my particular acoustic neuroma. I'm now one of a select group of humans (only 1 in 100 000 people per year) having this particular benign brain tumour.

I hope this record will be informative, rather than disturbing - though by its very nature, the lesion I am talking about is not a cheerful topic. Please feel free to comment - but remember the whole world can read them online. Sending me an email, if you like, will be private and remain so. Given the circumstances, I hope you understand if I don't reply!
